It’s been a big fortnight for hip hop, which has had an obvious effect on your favourite agency online. Read on for sauce, or like, tea?
Or subscribe and read about Type or something, then come back. Do what you’d like, we support you.

Who likes nuggets? Trick question, we don’t care/of course you do.
Simulate make Nuggs AND Discs now. The new website has us wondering what they even is? Maybe that’s the point.
In other news, has anyone checked our Schoooool’s site? We’re on it right now. It’s good. We particularly like nav bars. They nice.
On the font front, new guy is trying to find a more professional version of Circular, but Joe (Good morning), only has what he has, sorry Simon. And speaking of what Joe has (and ever-perfect segues), he reckons Media.Monks have some sweet, sweet interactions happening on their site.
“They’re not overwhelming, but just enough to make them memorable”
Anyone want some Helvesti from Dinamo? We do. Register for some early access here. How about a dessert pizza? Check that out here, or a different flavour here.

Nerds are back at it again, Lane said something about a site that has an audio reactive DOM. We’re guessing whether your DOM is nerd or Toretto flavoured it warrants this kind of emoji.
Chad OG had some inside-scoop on Tim Cook. Apple propose adding a “model” element to HTML that displays 3D. Dog asked for more, he didn’t get any though. Thanks Chad.
What he did have though was something for organising lists (classic nerd). Old mate used this on a project this week… It got pretty dense in there but setting up a context+SortableItem component pair was fairly smooth, so he says.
We ended the week with some pretty exciting news. Shopify’s Hydrogen is open for early access applications. We’ve entered the lottery and emoji’d up appropriately.
This could be a game changer for our Ecomms builds. It could also be buildups.
#vibe
Oh hello, it’s your favourite neighborhood bork, Dog.
#vibe this week started with a fresh roast of the new ‘album’ from “The Kitten Whisperer aka The Harvester of Pauses aka The Taio Cruz of Hip Hop aka Young Garnier Fructis the pre-cum baby aka Jennifer Aniston’s favorite emcee”, Drake. I didn’t listen to much of it but you better believe I kept up with the dramas. Why did he leak a diss track/song of the year from Kanye/Andre 3000? Congratulations Drake, you played y̶o̶u̶r̶s̶e̶l̶f̶ K̶a̶n̶y̶e̶ yourself.
Speaking of unexpected slappspersons, Peppa P aka The Pink Pain aka What Happens When A Mummy Pig And A Daddy Pig Love Each Other Very Much™ been laying the law down without blowing millions on marketing spend to test unfinished collabs, she just gets that wake ‘n bacon then trots bars spit like fire from the roast:
It was on Wednesday that inner children worldwide were once again wrapped in a warm and comforting blanket most had long forgotten: with the same abruptness with which he’d left, Steve from Blues Clues effortlessly pierced the swirling miasma of catastrophe, cataclysm and chaos with the soothing caress of his velvety narrative to assure us all that he hadn’t forgotten us, and he’s glad that we’re still friends.
With the world undergoing such extreme recalibration in the face of looming exponential change it feels only natural that division, mess and unrest would seep through the cracks to the surface; if we were stumbling through the dark at the knife’s edge of time, we’re now breaking into a sprint, often in differing directions. It can be painful to know that so many of the things we take for granted could be undermined by those we respected in or about our orbit, be it social responsibility, trusting the medical advice of doctors, or a woman’s right to her own body. Steve reminds us of simpler and slower times, and graciously foregoes any hint of political or social commentary. The lesson in my view is that maybe consuming a little less of the Doomscroll’s yield might allow us to be kinder to ourselves.
So yeah fuck Drake, muffin top havin’ ass.

Zoe tested Figma’s Remove Background tool, on a spatula…
...and it actually worked.
Adnaan thought it was dope, but if he used Anyword - a new AI copywriting tool, he may have found a better / stronger*/ superior*/ more fitting* etc. adjective to describe it. In fact, we actually tested Anyword on Zoe’s dope new tool. It’s low-key terrifying.
We found some UX auditing/ benchmarking examples, thanks Doggie and then we straightened out some Figma spaghetti/noodles. You’ll be pleased to know our 2FA is still going strong, it can be pretty annoying at times, but someone would like to think they’re one step ahead.
Fuck our inbox is tidy too.
